Five years after the Terrorist Wars ended, Dr. Colter Outlaw is recruited once more by S.K.U.L.L., an undercover organization. Ashley Blakely is desperate. Attending the conference with Cheri, the evil widow of the X-virus inventor, is the last place Ashley wants to be. However, there is a precious life at stake and Ashley has no choice but to try and convince Cheri Blakely to hand over the X-virus cure. Ashley isn’t counting on running into Dr. Colter Outlaw, the only man she has ever loved, the man who betrayed her five years ago with promises of freedom and then disappearing from her life.
Colter and Ashley are at odds with each other from the very minute they discover each other once again. Both are unwilling to believe and trust the other due to past hurts they dealt each other. One thing is certain, however, together in bed they roar like thunder. Both want the same thing, an end to the Claiming Law and safety for women. Ashley’s little surprise devastates and at the same time rejuvenates Colter’s feelings for her. Now, if they can just get the cure.
Colter’s Revenge, the third book of the Outlaw Lovers series by Jan Springer is in your face hot. A series of lies and misconstrued stories harmed the lovers years ago but when they realize this, there is no stopping them! Colter is my favorite brother so far and just makes me shiver. I admire Ashley and her protective instincts as well as her ability to forgive what she thought was a wrong dealt to her by her lover.
Colter’s Revenge is the much-anticipated continuation of some of my favorite brothers. I have to say that I was not disappointed in the least. Ms. Springer continued the tale of these fine brothers in a way that caught my attention and kept me on the seat the entire time. There is just one problem. I now have to wait for Tyler’s story and I want it NOW!
