Call for Ellora's Cavemen 2007 submissions
Can't remember if I posted this or not so I will post it anyways.
This came down the pipeline from Raelene Gorlinski, managing editor at Ellora's Cave - permission granted to forward...
"Yep, time to start writing those submissions for the 2007 Ellora's Cavemen anthologies. We don't yet have a title for the 2007 series, but it will again be four books, six stories in each.- Due date is September 30, but we'd like to get them in as soonas possible.-
Submit the full story, properly formatted and proofread.- Story length is 10,000 to 12,000 words.- The story may *not* be part of an existing series.- We accept submissions in all genres.
We need a mix of genres for the books.- You may submit as many stories for consideration as you want, but an author may only be in this anthology series once per year. We want to give everyone an opportunity.-
The contract is for full term of the copyright. Royaltiesare: Digital - 6.25% of Cover price less discounts to third party vendors and credited returns. Print - 1.25% of Cover price lesscredited returns. This is not negotiable. Because of the time andmoney invested in this project, we want to keep the rights for life so that the books can never be torn apart.
Please do not submit astory if you are not willing to accept these contract terms.
When submitting, please include this information on the first page:Title Author name & email address Genre Word count Blurb.
As we did for 2006, we will accept submissions from authors not currently published at EC.
Those submissions should be sent to Raelene@ellorascave.com and the message subject line should say "2007 Cavemen submission".
So please spread the word to your writer friends and any appropriate discussion loops you are on.
Feel free to distribute the information from this message. And include that the stories must be hot erotic romances - for 2006 we received a few outside submissions that had very mild sexual content, did not qualify as erotic."
That's the latest!!
Have fun writing,
jan
