Sex Outlawed - The Priestess has been submitted

Well I did it!!!

I sent in a partial of Sex Outlawed-The Priestess to Ellora's Cave for consideration.

The first 7,700 words and a 7 page synopsis. I'm hoping the 7's will bring me good luck.

I've targeted the tarot card - The Priestess for Ellora's Cave's 2007 Tarot series...I haven't heard word if the tarot series is open to writers outside of EC but when it comes down the pipeline I'll post it here at my blog.

I decided to try out early cause I've heard that The Priestess is one of the more popular cards and may be taken early...so I've put my cards on the table early so to speak. Wish me luck!!!

Aeon Flux -for writers who love futuristics!

If anything this delicious movie gave me lots of ideas for my futuristic stories...

Despite some of the bad reviews this movie is getting I found it very interesting of what could happen when a virus kills virtually the entire human race...hmm kind of reminded me of Outlaw Lovers.

I don't want to throw any spoilers in here so I won't. But there is a little bit of action and the movie is slow sometimes but I found myself really using my writer's imagination and it became a pretty good movie...

So I highly recommend it for futuristic writers who are looking for possible storyline ideas!

Update on Sinderella!!

Woooohooooooooo! The edits for Sinderella are finished!! Now we wait for the release date. Hopefully we'll know something within the next two weeks. I'll post the instant I know something!!

Current work in progress - Sex Outlawed!

The above fellow is inspiration for my current work in progress.

Currently I'm doing tarot card research to make a submission to Ellora's Cave's upcoming Tarot card series...I'm going to target The Priestess card. Time will tell what I come up with.

My devious plan is to convert "Sex Outlawed" - some may remember that story got accepted by Ghede Books but unfortunately EC pulled the plug on that line - and so SO has been orphaned since then...The plan is to turn it into a futuristic vampire menage erotic romance.
So far it is looking hot!!!

My Writer's Retreat has arrived!!!

My dream home/writer's retreat / future retirement home has arrived!!! And boy is it big!!

They settled it onto the basement foundation just this past Friday.

Here's an idea of how it looks. It's a two bedroom. One bedroom and the living room window faces south so I get lots of sun. The living room window also gives me an awesome view of my little side meadow and the sky. Lots of lightning bug and lightning watching this summer.

Everyone says I should have made the house face the main road but for me that wouldn't be inspirational...why would I want to face a boring road? LOL.

I've got a patio door facing north and that should be nice in the hot summers when I can go out onto the shade of the deck to write and watch the cars go by.

The fellows tell me the house should be ready to move in within a month

Once I'm settled I should hopefully get into a nice writing routine!!!

I took a tour inside and it looks so darned cozy. It is soooooooo cute! I'm off to dream again.
